Skamania Lodge, located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge is short 45 minutes from Portland,Oregon,City Center and Portland International Airport(PDX). Designed to be reminiscent of the great lodges of the early 1900's, the warm ambience of the Lodge is inspired by Native American designed rugs and original stone rubbings.Skamania Lodge features 254 guest rooms each offer a commanding view of the Columbia River Gorge or the forests of the Cascade Mountains. Our newly renovated forest view guest rooms featuring Forest Dream bedding, sheers, draperies, task chair, granite vanity, and new carpet. Dining is truly a delectable experience at Skamania Lodge, with the Cascade Room specializing in Pacific Northwest Cuisine. The River Rock offers dining in a more casual ambience with a lighter fare menu and lounge. Resort recreation and amenities include an 18-hole, par-70 golf course, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, dry saunas. The Skamania Lodge also offers over 4 miles of hiking trails, tennis, basketball, a sand volleyball court and bicycle rentals. Skamania Lodge offers year-round recreation. Enjoy a leisurely cruise aboard the Sternwheeler on the Columbia River, explore local museums or wineries, view the spring wildflowers or take a drive along the Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway and explore the many waterfalls, including the spectacular Multnomah Falls. For the outdoor enthusiast, the area offers hiking, climbing, biking, whitewater rafting, windsurfing and fishing. The wintertime also offers great local downhill skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

The Cascade RoomThe Cascade Room, at Skamania Lodge, features regional fine dining serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with an incredible view of the Columbia River and the Cascade Range. Our menu features bountiful Northwest seasonal cuisine that is centered around our wood-fired oven. Potlach salmon, smoked pork loin, and roast prime rib of Angus Beef are just a few of the items that are featured on the menu. Enjoy our Friday night Gorge Harvest Buffet or Sunday Champagne Brunch. Inspired by the Great National Park Lodges of the Northwest, the dining room has an open festive feeling with wood and iron highlights, and a floor that dates back over 200 years. The Cascade Room enjoys excellent patronage. Advance reservations are highly recommended for dinner and Sunday brunch.River Rock LoungeThe River Rock offers dining in a more casual ambience with a lighter fare menu.
