Please note : We are a backpacker hostel and all our facilities are on shared basis. Due to these characteristics, Equator Hostel may not be suitable for those under 18 years of age or for those without backpacking/hostelling experience.Equator Hostel is located in a 3 storey house, strategically located within easy access to a wide range of modern amenities such as shopping complexes, trendy cafes, restaurants and other major attractions such as Chinatown and Jalan Bukit Bintang. With its easy access to public transportation (1 minute walk from the monorail station and 10 minutes walk from the LRT station) Equator Hostel offers a laid-back, clean, comfortable and affordable base for either exploring our vibrant and exciting city or simply just a place to relax and chill out. Spaciously accommodating mixed dorms, single, double, twin and triple rooms, Equator Hostel is particularly suited for backpackers and independent travellers who are looking for clean, comfortable yet affordable accommodation. All facilities are on shared basis. Equator Hostel can accommodate 23 guests at any one time so you can be assured of personalized service from our friendly and helpful staff members. It�s also a great meeting point, a place to meet other travellers from all over the world and make new friends. When you stay at Equator Hostel, breakfast, linen, towel and lockers come free with the room. No extra charges! Coffee and tea is also free all day, best if you plan on staying in just surfing the net on our fast terminals, chilling out in our spacious common room watching satellite TV or any of the numerous collection of DVD movies or researching your next travel destination at our travel info desk. As we believe you should make the most of your time in our wonderful city to really enjoy its buzzing cosmopolitan energy, there is no curfew or lockout.We look forward to welcoming you at Equator Hostel. Directions

i. From KLIA by KLIA Express and Monorail or TaxiThe fastest way from KLIA to Equator Hostel is to hop on the KLIA Express to Sentral Station. From Sentral Station walk across Jalan Tun Sambanthan to the monorail station and take the monorail to Imbi Station. Once you reach Imbi Monorail Station, take the Times Square exit followed by the stairs down to Times Square West entrance. You will be able to see Jingga Caf� (orange building) across the road which is Lorong 1/77A. Walk straight down along Lorong 1/77A and look out for house number 70 on the right side of the road (approximately 1 minute walk from Imbi monorail station to Equator Hostel). Alternatively, if you have heavy luggage, you may take a taxi from KL Sentral Station. Tell the driver to drive to Times Square West Entrance (at Berjaya Times Square), which is on Lorong 1/77A. Once there tell the taxi driver to driver further down along Lorong 1/77A and look out for house number 70 on the right side of the road. ii. From KLIA By TaxiBuy a taxi coupon from KLIA to go to Berjaya Times Square. Tell the driver to drive to Times Square West Entrance, which is on Lorong 1/77A. Once there tell the taxi driver to driver further down along Lorong 1/77A and look out for house number 70 on the right side of the road. iii. From LCCT (Air Asia's Low Cost Carrier Terminal for Air Asia Flights)You can purchase a SkyBus ticket from the LCCT to KL Sentral for RM9. which will take you to Lower Ground Floor Bus Station, facing open air car park and Jalan Tun Sambanthan. From KL Sentral Station, you may either take a taxi to Berjaya Times Square or monorail to Imbi Monorail Station (please refer to the above for directions by taxi and monorail to Equator Hostel). iv. From Pudu Bus Station - Walk along Jalan Pudu towards Jalan Imbi. Cross Jalan Imbi and take the first left (Lorong 1/77A) towards Times Square West. Keep walking along Lorong 1/77A and look out for house number 70 on the right side of the road. Please note that the distance from Pudu Bus Station to Equator Hostel is approximately 1.2 km and walking is only recommended if you do not have heavy luggage. If you do have heavy luggage, you may take a taxi from Pudu Bus Station and tell the taxi driver to drive towards Times Square West (Lorong 1/77A). Once there tell the taxi driver to driver further down along Lorong 1/77A and look out for house number 70 on the right side of the road.
