More information on The Fairview Inn

Opened in 1863, this is the province's oldest continuously operated inn and is a fully restored plantation style home that boasts historically themed suites, hardwood floors throughout, antique furnishings, and original Nova Scotia artwork. Guests can relax on the covered veranda in the summer or cozy up to the fireplace on those cold nights. Take a stroll through the inn's gardens, swim in the outdoor pool which has a poolside bar, or unwind in the hot tub/whirlpool while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Nova Scotia. Every morning, a full breakfast can be served for a fee of $6 10/person with different menus, and in the afternoon, tea and coffee are available. There is full licensed restaurant and a quiet martini bar available also. Children can swim in the kid's pool while the adults relax on the sundeck catching some sun. Take advantage of the free local calls, laundry facilities, and business services that the inn offers. Each room is themed historically as the inn is the oldest operating inn in Nova Scotia. Every room comes with air conditioning, an alarm clock radio, desk, telephone with voicemail, cable TV with VCR, and smoke detectors. Guests can relax while reading the daily newspaper in their rooms or make some food with the microwave that each room comes with. High speed Internet access is also available.
