Located in the heart of medieval Shrewsbury within walking distance of shops, theatres, restaurants and nightlife. The main train station is a 10 minute walk away. Considered to be the highest quality hotel in the town it was once the home of Prince Report. It is set in amongst black and white Tudor buildings in a town steeped in history. The hotel has 70 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms including 12th century oak beamed Mansion Suites, 15th century Tudor Suites with four poster canopied beds and recently refurbished deluxe rooms. All rooms are also non-smoking. The hotel also has a choice of three restaurants namely the Royalist which servces a la carte and table dhote menus, Chambers - an oak panelled restaurant serving traditional English cuisine and an Italian restaurant called La Trattoria.
