It is traditional in design and made from locally quarried stone. Situated in the picturesque old market town of Kendal in the south of the Lake District. Good access from the M6 with the hotel being only 10 minutes drive from Junction 36.

RestaurantCatherine's Restaurant is named after Henry VIII's 6th wife Catherine Parr (Kendall was once home to her) and is located to the left of the main Lobby. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best of local ingredients are used to create good cuisine complimented by a fine wine list. The Westmorland Gazette Bar - aptly named after the regions local papaer - proudly displays photgraphs of the regions history and is a good place for a relaxed drink after a long day.
