The Bahia Mar Resort is located on the beach on the Gulf of Mexico and 3 miles off the causeway. The sub-tropical island resort features a beautiful twelve story hotel with a choice of standard hotel rooms, kitchenettes or suites, 2 or 3 bedroom condos. Each room has a private balcony overlooking either the Gulf and pool or the Laguna Madre Bay. The property has an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. ***South Padre Island is in full service. Directions

TGV trains run from Chamb�ry, Lyon and Paris to Saint Michel de Maurienne/Valloire station. From there, take the Altibus to Valmeinier (12 kilometres from the station to the resort). Driving directions: From either Chamb�ry or Lyon, take the A43 westwards until Saint Michel de Maurienne (Exit 23). From there, follow signposts to Valmeinier 1800.
