Parador De Siguenza

The Castle of Siguienza dominates rge town from the highest part, presiding over its historical and artistic heritage. 1206FG The brief but succint summary of the history of this castle is reproduced in a ceramic depiction in the entrance to the Parador. Inside the hotel many beautiful treasures are proudly stored. The famous throne room, featuring two exquisite French fireplaces and an exceptional coffered ceiling, the room of dona blanca, the romanesque-style chapel and dozens of pieces of armour, helmets and banners, which will delight all visitors. The hotel as it is known, used to be a Visigothic castle, then an Arab fort and then an Espiscopal Palace. It was the castle's final inhabitants, gentile servants of god, who gave this fortress its robust and splendid personality.
