Tickets are sold on a time basis one hour, two hour or 24 hour tickets. Traffic is restricted in the city centre and parking is expensive, so the centre of Florence is best explored on foot. From the airport, head for the Florence town centre and head towards the National Library (Biblioteca Nazionale) in Piazza dei Cavalleggeri. Drive through Corso dei Tintori, turn right into Via dei Benci and head for San Croce square. Turn left onto Via dell'Anguillara and enter San Firenze square.
