  • Overall: Rating of 3.7 out of 5

"overall impression: bathroom VERY clean as the staff comes several times a day to clean it, not ensuite in the rooms, 21 people in one room may sound horrible, but the rooms are big enough (not comparable to london eye, where they put 18 people in a 4 person dorm), staff is friendly and helpfull, many longstayers." source Hostelworld

"Very funny wall paintings and a nice atmosphere but it takes about 30 minutes to go to Central London by tube." source Hostelworld

"Good facilities and friendly staff, had a hard tiem finding an outlet in the rooms but overall good hostel." source Hostelworld

"I guess you just have to weigh the (+)'s and (-)'s for yourself, I would not stay there again though." source Hostelworld

"Good hostel overall, I recomend it for the location, is a good place, even if far from airport 2hrs." source Hostelworld

  • Clean: Rating of 3.5 out of 5

"I stayed in a 6-bed room and the cleaning wasn\'t very good: at the end of the day, one would return to find the window locked and a strange smell. Also, it is not true that it is a 24h kitchen, it was closed a bit after 10am for cleaning - at least put a sign saying that, for us to know when we can go." source Hostelworld

"the fridges were really full, didnt see how to fit anything else in, and even though it says they are cleaned on the wednesday they were smelly. It's quite a trip in to central London, but it's clean hostel, and decent place to crash." source Hostelworld

"7 three-stories bunk beds in a room with only one window open (the other was broken and patched with duct-tape), the smell was not too good and the cleaning non-existent, it looked like a refugee camp." source Hostelworld

"Rooms, bathrooms and hallways cleaned everyday, cheap as chips, a little bit of a hike to get to the center of London but Camden town is only a 10-15min tube ride away." source Hostelworld

"Kitchen ok (full freezers and refridgerators), showers and toilets (at least on the male side) were as clean as you could expect them to be." source Hostelworld

  • Service: Rating of 4.2 out of 5

"The trains service has changed and I had some difficulty to get there from the Gatwick airport." source Hostelworld

"Cheap, friendly staff, decent facilities, I would recommend this hostel." source Hostelworld

"The place was very nice, friendly staff, real funny decoration." source Hostelworld

"30 seconds to HC Tube stop and 24-hour doubledecker service." source Hostelworld

"This place is great, there is a very friendly staff." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 3.2 out of 5

"Staying at London Backpackers was blast, the staff were really friendly and helpful and it was located nice and close to the train station and shops." source Hostelworld

"About a half hour out of the downtown area but right next to a bus station and tube so transportation was easy." source Hostelworld

"Hostel is located in zone 3/4 so not great if you are only coming to London to see the central sights." source Hostelworld

"But the location was great because it was right off the tube, right by a bank, food, car rental too." source Hostelworld

"The facilities like kitchen, telephone,tv room, and the location is excellent, Thnk you." source Hostelworld

  • Value

"Good for the price but when you consider the cost of transport into the city you would be as well paying a little extra for a room and save on the travel expenses and time." source Hostelworld

"I totally agree that one should not expect the confort of an hotel in a backpacker hostel, but than the price should be in consequence." source Hostelworld

"The security could be better, bigger lockers are needed since my small bag didnt fit with my values." source Hostelworld

"triple bunkbeds in the dorm which was a bit annoying, but like i said, for the price, it's ace." source Hostelworld

"Outside of London, but with the cheap buses/trains with an Oyster card, it's not a big deal." source Hostelworld
