As a warm and friendly, privately-owned hotel, the Selandia offers great value for money, an excellent location and good service. (10/07 MK) It is a traditional red brick building with uniformed rectangular and arched windows and very typical of Copenhagen. The Selandia is located in the heart of Copenhagen, adjacent to the central station. The area the hotel is situated in has in recent years undergone considerable regeneration and is now a trendy district in which to live, with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The location makes it convenient to most of Copenhagen's major attractions including Tivoli gardens, the longest Pedestrainised shopping street in Europe - Storget, cinemas, restaurants and the direct airport train link at central station.

All rooms are small to medium in size and are carpeted and designed with thick and bold textiles, but the light-coloured walls tone down the rooms. Included in the rooms are trouser presses and [appears to be a word mising here]in some refrigerators. Bathrooms are compact but in good condition.
