  • Overall: Rating of 3.8 out of 5

"Bad: Tiny, very tiny room; shower/toilet could be cleaner; electrical sockets are in unbelievably hardly reachable locations; room lights are very "dark"; Would recommend this place." source Hostelworld

"Would definitely recommend and go back." source Orbitz

"It is a good hotel for the money, clean rooms, tv, and close to the metro." source Hotels.com

"It was a relief to find a lift in the hotel after learning the dorm is on the 6th floor, but I had a great stay overall, and it was nice to find towels were provided." source Hostelworld

"we would definitely recommend it for the price and convenience; besides these qualities, we opted for this place after the review saying the staff was a bit weird - we thought 'how fun' but no one seemed a bit weird (sigh)." source Hotels.com

  • Clean: Rating of 3.9 out of 5

"Mary's Hotel was clean, had a great location, had friendly & English-speaking staff, wonderful public transportation just outside the door, and yet it was very quiet." source Hostelworld

"The bed was a bit nasty so I slept on top of two sheets which were clean." source Expedia

"Close to the subway station, quiet neigbourhood, small but clean room , english-speaking staff, no problems at all." source Hostelworld

"However, it is clean and good for what we wanted, as we only slept in the hotel and we paid for what we got." source Hostelworld

"Very nice and clean hotel, great location (something about 100m from metro station Oberkampf)." source Hostelworld

  • Service: Rating of 4.0 out of 5

"Two complaints tho: the lift was out of service most of the time and the toilet was placed in a very bizarre position-almost under the little bathroom sink." source Hostelworld

"Old building with basic services, no AC, Cable only in French." source Expedia

"The person at reception essentially called me a liar for saying that I got access for less time earlier, which was BAD customer service to say the least." source Hostelworld

"there is an internet cafe right next to the cafe by metro station, much more efficent service, go there for internet." source Hostelworld

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, and in a safe neighborhood." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 4.3 out of 5

"I stayed with 4 other male friends in a QUAD room (but they gave us an extra mattress for the extra person) that said it was crampt in the room but since the hotel's location in in central paris it was fairly small." source Hostelworld

"the bad neighborhood aside, they take ur key." source Hotels.com

"Good value for your dollar and many places to eat, shop or drink in the area (yes, Mc Donalds is right there as well." source Expedia

"For the location RIGHT off the metro stop and in the heart of one of Paris' tourist districts with many nice cafes, brasseries; near the Operas and Pere Lachaise Cemetery, this price cannot be beat." source Hostelworld

"This hotel is well located, in the center of Paris, near a major metro connection hub." source Expedia

  • Value: Rating of 4.5 out of 5

"The price was fair for what we received and it is placed right next to a metro which makes coming and going very easy." source Hostelworld

"good position and price, but not good clear, little room, and quite noisy becosue the wall of the room are very thin." source Hostelworld

"should be more things in room for the price (eg jug to boil water pillows things to make you more at home)." source Hostelworld

"It was not a big deal though as this was a really nice area of Paris to stay in for a good price." source Hostelworld

"The Hotel was good value, but was unaware of ongoing construction next door to the room until arrival." source Hostelworld
