New Backpackers is ideally located in the old city of Istanbul, Sultanahmet and just a 2 minute walk to all the main tourist sites, such as Topkapi Palace, Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Underground Cistern and the Grand Bazaar. It is the perfect base for your visit to Istanbul. Backpackers cafe/hostel has been an Istanbul favourite for 10 years. 2004 saw the entire building completely renovated under German/Turkish management, and it is now a hostel/guesthouse, cafe and bar all in one - and even boasts some of the cleanest toilets in Turkey! All rooms air-conditioned with private en-suites.

Directions

You can take metro from the airport to Zeytinburnu metro stop. When you walk out of the stop turn right then walk down the stairs and take the tram to Sultanahmet.When you get off at Sultanahmet tram stop walk down the hill and go through the square between St. Sophia (red coloured mosque) and the park. Then turn right at the end of the square and take first left where you will see Four Seasons Hotel. We are one street down from the Four Seasons Hotel. If you are arriving Istanbul by train you can give us a call at the train station or e mail us ahead of your arrival. We will come and take you to hostel . if you want to get airport pick up service we can arrange it for you. (please let us know your flight details) for Ataturk airport ( 20 euro) if you coming from Sabiha (45 euro)
