In two minutes you can WALK to the Gaslamp quarter to enjoy the multitude of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops that make up this district. Petco Park, San Diego's newly built baseball stadium lies right on our doorstep. A baseball game is a must in truly experiencing American culture. The bus, train and airport are all easily reached, as is public transport.Our activities director works hard to ensure you get to see all there is to see in San Diego. We have daily activities organised such as a Gaslamp Walking Tour and Gaslamp Pub Crawl to help you enjoy all San Diego has to offer whilst meeting and hanging out with your fellow travelers. Balboa Park, home to San Diegos many museums and the world famous Zoo is within walking distance. The Greyhound (bus), Amtrak (train) and airport are all easily reached, as is public transport. All of our dorm rooms sleep only 4 people. All have brand new beds, mattresses and pillows! Security lockers are provided in the rooms. Private rooms have a Bunk bed with a full sized bed on the bottom and a single on the top, cable TV, and mini fridge.We offer:- Free internet- Free house phone- Free dinner three times a week- Free all-you-can-make waffles weekend mornings and cereal every day- Lockers in every room- Free tea and coffee all day- Free linen and towel use- Free day-storage of luggage after checking out- Pub crawl- Onsite laundry facilities with free washing powder- No curfewWe look forward to welcoming you!Reservation ConditionsGuests must be 18+ years to stay in our dorm rooms. There are no upper age restrictions; however, we ask that you are at least young at heart. The average age of our guests is between 18-35 years old. Our shared rooms are co-ed and are designed for vacationing travelers. You must have an international passport or Student ID with an out of state ID. You must also be able to show proof of on-going travel. A valid Visa or Mastercard is required to make a reservation.

DIRECTIONSFrom Greyhound: Exit station onto Broadway and Front. Catch the #11 bus to Market and 8th. Our building is on the corner of Market and 8th. (About 8 minutes.) You need to enter from the 8th Ave side. Bus costs $2.25. You must have the correct fare as they will not give change.From Amtrak: Catch the Blue Line trolley marked San Ysidro. Get off the stop marked Park Blvd at Market Street. (About 7 minutes.) Walk 0.2 miles wets on Market to 8th Ave. Our building is on the corner of Market and 8th. You need to enter from the 8th Ave side. Trolley costs $1.75.From Airport: Catch the $992 Airport bus. Get off at 4th and G. (About 20 minutes). Walk blocks East to 8th. Make a right on 8th and walk 1/2 a block South. Our building is on the corner of Market and 8th. You need to enter from the 8th Ave side. Bus costs $2.25. You must have the correct fare as they will not give change.Driving:From I-5 take 10th Ave exit. Turn slightly onto 10th Ave. Turn right onto Market.
