  • Clean: Rating of 3.2 out of 5

"the hostel was clean in general, the breakfast was good considering the price, we had a private room which was good, however the internet cost 3 euros 30 minutos, its so expensive, and then they charge you the luggage storage 3 euros per piece." source Hostelworld

"Nice location and breakfast, the security is average and some of the night staff are rather sleazy, but you get a view of the Acropolis and its relatively well priced and clean, although the toilets do take some getting used to." source Hostelworld

"brilliant location but noisy and room not cleaned at all during the stay which given the not flushing loo roll down loo in greece we expected at least the bathroom bin to have been emptied in 5 days." source Hostelworld

"Well located, I was twice in there, the first time was horrible, but the second was way better, really near the night life, the a/c is not so good, the bathrooms smell weird but they're clean." source Hostelworld

"The staff probably stole some of our clothes :( The maid ran around with our key but never cleaned or even emptied out the trash." source Hostelworld

  • Service: Rating of 3.8 out of 5

"This hostel is really not a nice location: Rooms small, loud (Athena street is very noisy)and dirty, especially the bath, room-service only by asking for it, the breakfast is simple (bread like a stone for example." source Hostelworld

"A very nice, kindly and helpful staff." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 4.6 out of 5

"location is great, next to acropolis and plaka, metro is next to the hostel, staff was great, only problem is that sometimes there wasnt hot water and if you can tolerate noise from the street than you wont have any problem at all." source Hostelworld

"She could not locate my hostelworld booking or deposit as made 2 days previous, and seemed unclear as to what hostelworld was (asking which staff member I had spoken to though I repeatedly stated i had booked over the internet." source Hostelworld

"staff are really helpful, and the location is excellent right under the acropolis, close to the restaurant strips and easy to get to from the airport." source Hostelworld

"A great location to visit Athens . Acropolis and most of the major sites are at a walking distance, night life is a few minutes away." source Hostelworld

"The second room, located on the first floor, didn't smell but both rooms were very loud; they faced the street which had cars going 24 hours." source Hostelworld

  • Value

"The night guard is very rude if you go out and wake him up to open the door to you and staff tells you to do some tours that are too expensive and you can do them by yourself for less than half the price." source Hostelworld

"in winter was a little cold at night (no heater control, but good price and otherwise decent." source Hostelworld

"location was good and is really easy to get to, has aircon, reasonably priced." source Hostelworld

"However, with this price and location, can't complaint too much." source Hostelworld

"The internet cost too much and has some technical problems." source Hostelworld

  • Room

"Although we often travlled back to the hostel late at night, we never had any security problems, all the interesting places are incredibly close, rooms are small but absolutely sufficient if you come to Athens for sightseeing and not for staying at hostel all the time." source Hostelworld

"When I asked for a change of the room, I had to take the baggage downstairs around 9:00 hrs, and upstairs even when the room around 15:00 hrs, when the other room had been emptied." source Hostelworld

"The main drawbacks at Fivos: noise form the street and the old once glazed windows, bathroom in the room with no ventilation resembling sauna, old bed with very simple blanket and sheet." source Hostelworld
