The hotel has a pleasant garden and many activities can be arranged to practice in the region.1106FG Built on the top of the hill this 12th-13th century castle-convent became the seat of the Order of Calatrava in 1179. Dominating the landscape of the Maestrazgo, it conserves the keep, the bell tower-sacristy and the part reconverted into an 18th Aragonese palace. The parador is located at the top of the Cerro Pui-Pinos, at the foot of which extends a city of squares with porticos and narrow streets with balconies, maintaining its medieval charms. Alca?iz is located 105 kilometres from Zaragoza.
