More information on Avenue Hotel
The newly renovated Avenue hotel is one of the best hotels in Copenhagen. A design hotel in essence it retains the family feeling and ownership it has always had. The rooms and facilities exude style and inspiration for an enjoyable stay, while the architects touch can be seen throughout. And these little gems always take your attention, such as the delightful courtyard where the greenest of green plants, wooden decking, lanterns, and soft cushion seating make for a veritable city oasis. An excellent value for money property with the friendliest of staff and service, and all in a quiet but perfect location for exploring Copenhagen. Highly recommended. (09/07 MK) This classic building, over four stories, is traditional Danish architecture with rendered walls and large windows. It was designed by Emil Blichfeldt who also designed Tivoli's main entrance. Located in Frederiksberg, one of the nicest districts of Copenhagen and only a ten to fifteen minute walk to the city centre. The newly renovated Avenue hotel is easily one of Copenhagen's best hotels, as a privately run design focused property with a passion for excellent style.

Dining
RestaurantThe breakfast room is located to the left of the entrance on the ground floor. It has been beautifully renovated and now boasts a cafe feel, with stylish black chairs and huge engaging pictures hanging from the walls and a light wooden floor throughout. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, they decided on the unique but excellent choice of employing a professional chef, meaning a hearty breakfast full of Danish traditions and light snacks being able to be cater for on request in the hotel's bar.
