With 37 deluxe rooms and 2 spacious suites, the Bayfront Inn pampers its guests in subtle luxury and comforting service. Sit on our waterfront porches, relax on our gazebo's upper deck or sunbath on our poolside veranda. Guests are spoiled by the soft cool sea-breezes and calming waters of the Matanzas and the refreshing visions of ancestral old world lifestyles. Take the short walk to the Castillo de San Marcos, Lightner Museum or the many shops and retaurants of quaint St. George Street. For more exciting venues, the Alligator Farm and beaches are just a few short miles away.The Bayfront Inn is located in the city's oldest historic district, known as Old Town which dates back to 1572. Centered in teh Bayfront Inn is the Rodriguez House, ca. 1702-1763, a first Spanish period building with four guest rooms and built according to the royal decree of the then king of Spain.The Bayfront Inn rooms are completely smoke free with amenities, including wireless internet and modem/data port access, cable television and telephone with voicemail. Your home necessities, such as air conditioning, iron and ironing board, alarm clock radio, hairdryer and coffeemaker are conveniently located in each room. You can relax each morning, reading the complimentary copies of our local newspaper and USA Today while enjoying your continental breakfast. Free on-site parking is reserved and only available for our guests.
