This small and secure hostel features Cairns most relaxed, unique and homely atmosphere! Your accommodation is set within a lush tropical oasis featuring comfortable hammocks in the trees by the pool. Every wednesday night is BBQ and fire show with croc and kangaroo tasting . Your room will have fresh clean linen, duvets and towels. All of this is just a 5 minute walk to the city centre, markets and swimming lagoon.Dreamtime is family owned and operated. The dynamic team spirit within all our staff will ensure you have a great stay. We pride ourselves on our local knowledge. Please ask about our weekly tour specials that will save you money and time!Our expert tour staff are in constant contact with the best companies Australia wide and have up to date information, weather conditions and specials for you to consider. Send an enquiry email anytime or view our online tour shop at our website.Cafe Melt offers a wide range of tastes from all over the world, the feature meals rotate nightly. We are happy to offer you a 10 dollar meal deal with free high speed internet each night you stay. We are open from 7.30am for breakfast which is handy if your arriving early.Reception closes at 8pm so if arriving late please ensure you have our simple self check in details. Directions

Dreamtime has a great location! In a quiet street directly opposite Cairns Central Train Station (5 minute walk to City). Corner of Terminus and Bunda Street with Cafe Melt, a travellers lounge and meeting point on the corner of our street. Sunpalm Shuttles operate transfers from the airport to our front door 24 hours a day, contact us if arriving after 8pm. Arriving off Greyhound or Premier call free number 1800 058 440 for free city terminal pick up from 7.30am to 7.30pm.
