It is 25 minutes by commuter train with a station pick up available on request.There is a warm seafront lounge, a cosy dining room, private(but not ensuite) showers and toilets, very comfy beds and a large farmhouse kitchen providing excellent self catering facilities. Office hours are 8.00am until 9.00pm in Winter. Bookings cannot be accepted for arrivals AFTER this time without prior arrangement. Directions
Just 20 minutes North of Wellington by car, Moana Lodge is 1.3 kms off SH1 at the Steyne Avenue, Plimmerton turnoff. It is at the gateway for inter island ferries (20 minutes away) as well as for trips to Wellington, Wairarapa, Kapiti Coast, Hutt Valley and PoriruaThe commuter train stops at Plimmerton and the Intercity REQUEST Bus stops opposite the BP station at MANA. Overlander trains stop at Porirua or Paraparaumu.
