The AccomodationThe Hub Backpackers, which has just been occupied with new management is situated right on the banks of the beautiful Tamar River, offers a variety of dorms and private bedrooms. Cleaned daily & with all linen taken care of including sheets, pillows, pillow cases, doonas and blankets. Extra linen is available on request free of charge. 24/7 access to rooms will also benefit those wishing to come home in the early hours. We have Laundry & Kitchen area's, Wi-Fi Internet available at a small charge. Choose from our 2, 4, 6 or 7 bed dorms. We also have private rooms with either a double bed or a double and single bed. Staff open every morning from 9am for checkout, if you would like to check out earlier please advise us so we can do so. We have a resident Night Manager which can be consulted after 9pm if any problems arrise.The BarThe Hub Bar is open every night of the week with events held Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun Nights.Wednesday Nights - Uni Night/Open Mic Night with live entertainment and drink specials.Friday Nights - Beat Nightclub GLBTI Friendly Friday with live DJ's and shows.Saturday Night - Beat Nightclub Saturday Night Strippers - Local and Interstate Dancers Sunday Night - Sunday Sessions with live entertainment and drink specials from 4pmWe have 2 pool tables, plenty of couchs and load of room to relax.The bar has an extensive range of beers and spirits, with over 25 beers available and over 40 spirits we can supply for everyones needs, we also have Boag's and Classic Blonde on tap avalible in 10oz, Pints and Jugs. We have Happy Hour every night from 6-7pm.The CafeThe Cafe is open every day from 9am to 9pm with coffee and gelato.Come in and try some of Andy's Gelato's with 20 flavours in stock, we can supply in 1 2 or 3 scoops or for a night at home we have take away tubs.Also opening soon in the cafe is an All You Can Eat Pizza & Pasta so keep your ears open about this one!

Directions

The Hub Bar, Cafe & Backpackers is located next the Invermay Bridge on Tamar St.From the CBD head towards City Park till you hit Tamar St then head North. You will come across it. If you are coming via Taxi or Airporter Shuttle bus just tell the driver the name and they will bring you to our door.
