Live comfortable and eat well this is a modern hotel with old traditions. It is easy to find, in the heart of Bossekop, the oldest and most historical part of Alta. Nordly's Hotel is just 7.5 km from the airport, and 2 km from the center of town. The distance from the hotel to the rock carvings, which is a world heritage site, is 3 km. When you arrive at the hotel you will notice our unique rock collection. The owner of the hotel has, over a long period of time, collected rocks from all over the world. The Nordly's Hotel friendly staff is always available to help. You will be able to use a computer that is connected to the Internet free of charge. There is also a television if you would like to watch. In the lounge you will also be able to order drinks or have a glass of beer. You can experience many different things in Alta both in summer and winter. Some possibilities in the winter might be a dogsled-ride under the northern light, snowmobile ride or a visit to an Ice Hotel. In the summer you can experience the world famous rock carvings, the beautiful Alta Canyon or boat trips both on the famous Alta River or at sea. If you would like to go on any of these tours, our staff will help you the best we can so that you will be able to have these experiences. The Hotel has been fully renovated in 1990, and in 2004 we build a new section to the hotel. We have high standard in all our rooms, and all of them have private bathroom with toilet and shower. The rooms that are facing forward have a beautiful view, and the rooms facing the other side are nice and quiet rooms. There are also cable-TV, radio and telephone in all rooms. Some rooms even have access to the Internet. If you would like to relax after a strenuous day you can do that in our sauna or in our whirlpool. The restaurant, Gjestestua, serves traditional Norwegian homemade cooking. We are one of 33 restaurants in Northern Norway that is part of the Artic Menu network. This means that we serve new and traditional dishes based on high quality North Norwegian ingredients. You will always have many different dishes to choose from, but there will always be reindeer meat and fish on the menu. The restaurant is known both to the local community and to people visiting for its good food. You can find the restaurant mentioned in different travel guides, and we are also ranked as one of the 100 best places to eat in Norway! We have three conference rooms. The newest one was built in 2004. This conference room is situated on the second floor, and has a beautiful view. In connection with this conference room there is a bar with a terrace. This room takes about 70 persons. The second conference room you will find in the basement. This room can hold up to 35 persons. The third conference room is situated also on the second floor. In all these rooms you will find everything that you need to hold a meeting.
