The best hotel in the city, it was purpose built to cater for lesiure travellers and is ideal for those wanting to explore the City and the nearby famous and beautiful Abel Tasman national park. For those wanting a more relaxing time the hotels swimming pool and health centre offer a more pampered stay. This hotel is completely no smoking now including all bedrooms and public areas. Driving directions from Nelson Airport: Turn right onto Quarantine Road, go straight over round about and then left on Whakatu Drive. Follow signs to City Centre through Waimea Road. Road becomes Rutherford Street, then turn right into Nile Street. Hotel is found on the corner.
