From Tunis Carthage Airport(TUN): Distance to Hotel Mechmoum is 60 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive. Getting there. TUT and SNT buses run between the airport and central Tunis every 15 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 1 TND. Regular buses and trains connect Tunis and Hammamet. Taxis can be taken directly from the airport to the hotel; a one way fare should cost around 80EUR. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Hammamet is easy to explore on foot. SNTRI, the national bus company, operates throughout Tunisia, and there is an efficient national rail network. Shared taxis are inexpensive, and popular for long distance journeys. A car is recommended for exploring the countryside.
