From Malta International Airport (MLA): Distance to the Osborne Hotel is 12 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. Fixed rate taxis run from the airport to towns across the island. Fares to Valletta are approximately 6 MTL. Pre paid tickets can be purchased from the taxi desk at Arrivals. Bus number 8 runs between the airport and Valletta's main bus terminus every 20 minutes. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. A network of buses connects Malta to the main resorts. A day bus pass costs 1.50 MTL. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
