Woolley Grange - Member of Von Essen Hotels a private collection of individual country houses in the UK, Scotland and France.Just a short drive through the Medieval wool town of Bradford on Avon and just 7 miles from the Georgian city of Bath lays Woolley Grange. A splendid Jacobean Manor House set in 14 acres of its own grounds with unparalleled views of the Wiltshire countryside. In 1989 Woolley became the first hotel of its kind to actively welcome families and quickly built on its reputation with a number of accolades- press coverage and many repeat guests. The philosophy of Luxury Family Hotels is about providing stylish- luxurious adult comforts that naturally including good food and wine- combined with a sense tranquility. With 26 individually designed bedrooms and lavish bathrooms Woolley offers a unique blend of character and style. The supervised creche is open everyday from 10am-5pm and is a free service offered to all young guests. There is also a games room for older children and an outdoor heated pool. Relaxation is always on the cards at Woolley- whether it is curling up in front of the blazing log fires- strolling around the grounds choosing vegetables to take home from the walled garden or simply enjoying a good massage in your room- everyone chooses to relax in different ways! Spending time with the family is equally important and there are things to do around the hotel or lots of places to visit in the local area. Children love to visit- Longleat House and Estate- The Roman Baths- Wookey Hole and Bristol.
