Bethams is 4 km off the north Viti Levu coast and about 2 hours by road from Nadi Airport. Our boat leaves from Ellington Wharf and ferries you to the island in 15 minutes over sheltered waters. Nananu has 8 white sandy beaches, fantastic diving, excellent snorkelling and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere.Sheltered in picturesque Naivere Bay, BETHAMS has budget accomodation in beachfront cottages, Private Double Rooms, and dormitories for families, couples and world travellers. Our Bures are modern self contained units sleeping five comfortably. All utensils are supplied including crockery, cutlery, stove, fridge, cooking utensils and linen. We do not supply a telephone or television, listen to the sea or watch the stars instead. Units are no more than 5 yards from the beach - our aquarium is on your doorstep.Our restaurant provides a delicious selection if Fijian Indian and western dishes. Oue hamburgers and toasties are great and we do plunge coffee.Naivere Bay with The Nakauvadra Ranges in the background makes for such a peaceful setting, you will just want to lie back and let it do you good. Snorkelling is easy and rewarding within the bay and there are heaps of fish in the sanctuary off the end of the jetty. You can swim at all tides. Scuba diving is excellent with a variety of first class dives a 30 minute boat ride from the beach. Please ask at the Shop and our staff will put you in contact with the dive operators. Full PADI facilities are available. We hire kayaks and snorkelling gear and in the Beach Bure you will find our bookswap and information about snorkelling and fishing trips, windsurfing and sailing. Please check the map or ask our staff about the walks; pay attention to what the tide is doing and how many hours of daylight you have. The WINDWARD BEACH is an excellent location for windsurfing and kiteboarding. Coaching and hire gear available but you need to book.

Before leaving Rakiraki call us so we can send the boat over.Boat transfer $F30 return per person.If you are coming from Suva side, the express buses go to Rakiraki also.You need to get to Ellington Wharf by 5.30pm.
