C & N Backpackers Hostel is the longest existing independent and most famous hostel in Vancouver. Twenty years in the same location has garnered our international hostel with a reputation for a safe, clean and friendly environment. It also gives travelers the opportunity to stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the world without having to spend a fortune. Guests from around the world frequently stay with us on more than one occasion because of our exceptional value and the high level of service we provide. We welcome families with kids, an oceanfront play ground is located in walking distance, as well a skate park is near. stroller or baby crib can be provided upon requestSituated at the eastern end of False Creek, we are surrounded by luxurious condos and are within walking distance of business, entertainment and recreational amenities such as public tennis courts, shore-line cycling, and scenic walking paths. Across the street will be the upcoming Olympic game opening ceremony.Since taking over we have invested a lot of money renovating the interior of the hostel and we are planning to give the exterior of this 1908 Heritage Building a face lift in the near future. The hostel is lovely, but simply furnished. It is our priority to keep the facility spotless, clean, safe and comfortable. Our trained, friendly and international staff is happy to assist you in planning day trips as well as information on how to reach sightseeing attractions. We do provide shutle services to our other locations in Tofino and Pemberton/ WhistlerWe can help you in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Farsi and Turkish.

Sky train exit: Main street/ science worldCity buses #3 and #16 stop right across the street from the hostel. Vancouver's main Bus Depot and Train Station are situated across the street and approximately 100 meters to the left.FROM Airport;Take bus #100 to Marine and Main Street and transfer to bus #3 get off at the bus depot and train stationAlternatively, take the Airporter shuttle bus.
