Blue Danube Hostel

Our hostel offers cheap and also comfortable accomodation for everybody who wants to discover Budapest, this charming and interesting city. We are located in the city center, less than 1 minute from the Subway and 2 minutes from the Danube river. All our rooms are nicely furnished , ideal for couples or friends travelling together. Our english speaking staff will do their best to make sure your stay at our Hostel is going to be a pleasant and memorable one. We will provide you with all the information you might need to see everything in our city, either if you want to visit the historical sites, experience our cultural events or want to party in a great club, we will help you to find the right place.Also very important: Our Hostel is a calm quiet place to stay so please no loud partyes or drinking in the Hostel during the night. Please note that we wait for our guests as we do not have a 24 hour reception. So we need you to inform us about your arrival time(by e-mail) at least 24 hours before your arrival.We wish you a pleasant trip to Budapest!

Directions

Coming by train or bus we pick you up and drive you to the Hostel free of chargeIf you arrive to the airport we offer a cheap airport pick up ( 12 EUR )Directions:Arriving at the West railway station (Nyugati pu.) you should get on tram 4 or 6 and Ferenc krt. is the 7th stop (�llői �t). Takes about 15 mins. Arriving at the East station (Keleti pu.) you want to go one stop on the tube (red line) to Blaha sq. and change for tram 4 or 6 for another 3 stops to Ferenc krt. (�llői �t). Takes about 15 min. again.From the International Bus Terminal you want to take the tube (blue line) and get off at Ferenc krt., 3 stops. As you come up take the second exit on your left and it is some 100 meters away. Takes about 10 mins. altogether.Arriving at the airport you take the airport bus to Kőb�nya Kispest (last stop) and there you get on the tube (blue line) which takes you to Ferenc krt., 7th stop. Takes about 40-50 mins. in all.It is good to know that in terms of public transport we have the best location you can imagine, even the two most important night buses would stop only 50-60 meters from the apartment and they run every 10-15 mins. throughout the night.Note of interest:Tram 4/6 runs every 2-4 mins. throughout 4.30-24.00h. It is the busiest tram line in the world.The tube lines run 4.30-23.20h.
