Location. The Long Beach Lodge Resort is located on eight beachfront acres, seven kilometers south of Tofino, British Columbia, Canada, at the edge of Cox Bay between the Pacific Rim National Park and the Clayoquot Sound. The Pacific Rim National Park features a nine hole golf course on the edge of the park. The nearby Village of Tofino offers an eclectic mix of boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Hotel Features. Designed to resemble a West Coast style residence, the hotel boasts traditional elements of cedar board and batten, a metal roof, a granite fireplace and a stone chimney. The Great Room & Dining Room offer West Coast cuisine for lunch and dinner. Reservations are required. Buffet style continental breakfasts are served in the Great Room. A beachfront fitness center is on site, and in room massages are available. A central, covered barbecue area is in the main lodge area. Guestrooms. Guestrooms consist of 40 Lodge rooms and 20 Rainforest Cottages. Lodge rooms boast ocean or rainforest views and include bathrobes and waterproof rain jackets. Beachfront Lodge rooms offer Douglas Fir furniture including beds, armoires and desks. Rooms are equipped with DVD and CD players. Natural toiletries are held in a hand woven kelp basket. Forest Lodge rooms include high speed Internet access. The Rainforest Cottages boast full kitchens, living areas with gas fireplaces and private patios with spa tubs. All beach front rooms offer fireplaces with ocean views. Expert Tip. The hotel's Very Important Pet program offers a pet bed, dishes, towels and treats for a fee.
