We are a non-smoking hotel. Free wireless internet access. Free car parking.

Elton Bank Hotel is located fronting on to Platt Lane opposite Platt Fields Park approximately 150 yards from its junction with Wilmslow Road (A6010). We are approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Manchester City Centre, 7 miles (11.3 km) from Manchester International Airport and within walking distance to the Manchester University.Directions from Manchester City CentreTo reach us by public transport you can catch any of the 40 numbered buses (i.e. 41, 42, etc. but please do not take the 47). You may catch these at the central bus station at Piccadilly Gardens. Please inform the bus driver that you wish to get off at the beginning of Platt Fields Park or outside the Finglands bus station, Platt Lane is straight opposite the Finglands bus station and we are situated approx. 150 yards on your right.To reach us by car from city centre, on A34 Princess Street (south) turn right (west) onto Charles Street, turn left (south-east) onto Oxford Road, road name changes to B5117 Oxford Road for about 1 mile; keep straight onto B5117 Wilmslow Road for about 0.5 mile, at the left side of the traffic lights you will see a pub called 'Hardy's Well' turn right (west) onto Platt Lane. Elton Bank Hotel is located fronting on to Platt Lane opposite Platt Fields Park approximately 150 yards from its junction with Wilmslow Road (A6010).Directions from Manchester International AirportTo reach us by public transport you can catch the following bus no's. 43 and 45 from the airport. If you inform the driver you wish to get off at the end of Platt Fields Park (opposite the Finglands bus station) on Wilmslow Road at the junction with Platt Lane, we are situated approx. 150 yards on your right.To reach us by car from the airport, follow the exit sign to merge onto M56 for about 2.5 miles towards M56 / M62 / M60 / M67 / Manchester / Leeds / Stockport / Sheffield. The road name changes to A5103 Princess Parkway for about 3 miles, follow the signs to Manchester City Centre. At the junction A5103 Princess Road and A6010 Wilbraham Road you will see 'Whalley Range high school for girls' on the left side of the traffic lights, turn right (east) onto A6010 , follow A6010 turn left (north) onto Wilmslow Road, when you reach the end of the Platt Fields Park (opposite the Finglands bus station and Hand Car Wash) turn left (west) onto Platt Lane. Elton Bank Hotel is located fronting on to Platt Lane opposite Platt Fields Park approximately 150 yards from its junction with Wilmslow Road (A6010).
