More information on Townhouse Hotel

As UK City of Architecture and Design 1999, Glasgow is recognized throughout the world for its magnificent architecture. The Townhouse Hotel is located in one of Glasgow's most picturesque Georgian-style crescents; only a few minutes walk from the bustling Charing Cross area of the city. Opened in late 1997 following extensive refurbishment in the McMillan style polished pine furniture and floors in the bedroom and polished pine beams and matching tables and chairs in the breakfast room. The Townhouse has 17 rooms each providing an en-suite private bathroom, direct dial telephone, colour television and complimentary tea making facilities. Our superb value-for money rates include a full Scottish breakfast. Many restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes are located close by, offering a range of international as well as traditional Scottish cuisine. The Townhouse is only 50 yards from the Discovering Glasgow city tour bus pick-up area, and a few minutes walk will take you to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Museum of Transport, Glasgow Art Galleries, and the University of Glasgow. For rest and relaxation, parks and gardens abound - the hotels back garden is Kelvingrove Park, providing Glasgow with more green space per head of population than any other city in Europe. To experience the calm of the countryside in the middle of a city, you will find the Townhouse to be an Interestingly Different experience.
