Hostelling International Salar de Uyuni is the gateway HI-Hostel for any excursions to the biggest salt flat in the world 'El Salar de Uyuni' and the beautiful lagoons, flamingos and countryside along the off-road treks to Chile or Argentina.A very solid, newly renovated building hosts shared and double rooms, offering international standard accommodation in this remote corner of the Bolivian highlands. Highlight: reception and TV-saloon are built in pure salt stones!The hostel offers hot showers, breakfast and baggage storage, as well as an in-house travel agency called PUCARA-TOURS that will be happy to provide you with all kinds of information and offers you unforgettable 1 to 6 day excursions to the salt flat, colored lagoons, Inca mummies etc. The agency personnel speaks English.

We are 250m from the Bus-Terminal (Potos� or La Paz) or the Train Station (4 times per week: Tupiza-Villazon or Oruro) and 100m from the famous Clock Tower in the centre of the village - right in front of Migration office (important while leaving for Chile).If you need further directions please contact us.
