In today's YHA, we believe that you deserve a better standard for your money. We offer young people a welcome break from the over crowded, grimy dormitories that can typify the hostel experience elsewhere.For our price you'll sleep in an en-suite room in the centre of town, sharing with no more than 5 other people. You will get freshly laundered linen free of charge and a cupboard to store your bags. You'll have 24-hour access and if you arrive early we'll store your luggage for free. In the morning you'll get a full breakfast; ' the best start to the day you're ever likely to get' according to Oxford Student Union.On top of that we have a restaurant, licensed bar, pool table, Internet, Wi-fi, 3 lounges, and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen. Our building is staffed 24/7 and monitored by CCTV. We're always on hand to recommend pubs, clubs and help with any aspect of tourist information (guests can even benefit from the cheapest bus-tour tickets in town for sale on reception) **The prices quoted are member's prices. A none members supplement of �3 per person per night will be charged on arrival for those guests not in possession of a valid YHA England & Wales or equivalent IYHF/ Hostelling International membership card**There is no curfew or lockout. Trains run from London Paddington (journey :55 mins using the fast service)Directions (1 minute walk)Leave station from main forecourt area, take a right turn on main road, to go under the bridge and hostel is next building on right.Coach / Bus/ National Express: Gloucester Green (main bus station) 500mFrom London : Oxford Tube and Oxford Express Bus runs every 10 - 15 minutes (From Victoria, plus other stops in London) Directions (8 - 10mins walk)Leave Glouscester Green bus station on George St, take Hythe Bridge St, continue under railway bridge. Hostel is next building on right after bridge.Airport Bus : Heathrow and Gatwick, regular bus links direct to Oxford, stopping at the Bus station Limited service direct from Stansted and Luton airports.CarKeep on Oxford ring road to the west side of city. Leave at the Botley turn off. Follow signs to rail station. YHA is on left side 2km from here, just before rail station. No parking at hostel, but staff can direct you to park and ride car park 1.5km away, �0.70 per day.
