  • Clean: Rating of 2.8 out of 5

"Pros: location, clean, free brekkie Cons: Staff arent at all friendly or helpful (besides one or two), no wifi, two old computers are slow and cost to use, beds make a tonne of noise when you move, toilets and showers have light timers and will most likely turn off when you are in the middle of a shower." source Hostelworld

"The hostel is dirty and messy, especially the kitchen, i knew there are so many guess did not clean up the stuff themselves after used, but anyway i think the staff are then have to follow up the cleanliness." source Hostelworld

"They might be cheap, but that's no excuse for unkept rooms, lack of clean bathrooms, broken windows and old mattresses. What ever happened to a clean space." source Hostelworld

"Whilst the location of this hostel is excellent, the bathrooms, toilets and rooms needed a thorough clean." source Hostelworld

"No heater in the room, the window in the room doesn't close completely, the kitchen isn't really clean." source Hostelworld

  • Service: Rating of 3.8 out of 5

"Nice to have laundry service but not so nice finding someone elses socks had been washed in with my clothes." source Hostelworld

"Positive: its a good location, friendly staff, they cook nice dinners and breakfast every now and then." source Hostelworld

"Very nice and helpful staff." source Hostelworld

"Friendly staff and a good simple breakfast to set me on my way." source Hostelworld

"Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 4.7 out of 5

"It is a good place to stay cos the price is reasonable, although it is not fun but u always can find a way to please yourself, for the location it is worth it." source Hostelworld

"Location geat, Staff friendly, has a run down appearance, shortage of seats in dining/common room, insufficient toilets and showers for all guests." source Hostelworld

"The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly, but there weren't any lockers in the room I was in and some areas were a little dirty." source Hostelworld

"But, it's a brilliant location and you can't argue with the price, so it's worth putting up with the annoying wall art and slightly drab room." source Hostelworld

"the hostel was in an excellent location, very close to bus and train station and in the centre of town but the security was pretty lacking." source Hostelworld

  • Value

"I personally thought it a little weird to be told we paid for breakfast in the price of the booking but then we also have to wash our own dish." source Hostelworld

"When complained about a broken light in the room, it wasn't fixed, but decided I could deal with this." source Hostelworld

"It was very inexpensive for us to stay in the hostel, however and you get what you pay for." source Hostelworld

"For the price, you can find way much better hostels elsewhere in the UK." source Hostelworld

"For the price, you can't beat it." source Hostelworld
