"Sohotel is Highly recommended." source Skoosh

"I know that New York hotels are expensive in general, and the relationship between price/quality is poor in my opinion (I am Spanish), but in general I would recommend the hotel if you want a hotel cheaper than the rest and clean, because the hotel is not new but is very very clean, and the temperature is good, in spite of the weather of the street." source Venere

"I recommend this hotel to everyone." source Travelocity

"Sohotel is a great hotel for the value of your money, its location is also a great plus point with incredible shopping just two streets away." source Venere

"Highly recommended for people who are looking for a great price/quality hotel, I would definitely come back there in the future." source Venere

  • Clean: Rating of 3.6 out of 5

"First we were offered a room worse than anything I've seen, not clean and more institution like than a hotel, then we changed to an other room too noisy to sleep, above a bar with lots of music and noise through the night." source Venere

"The staff was the best for a hotel of this kind the rooms are very clean, easy to find this place, easy to have a nice time." source Travelocity

"If you want a clean spot in a convenient location so you can spend your money on other things, this hotel is perfectly fine." source Venere

"The room was very small, third floor and no elevator, not very clean, walls dated (paint yellow like in an old hospital." source Venere

"Very clean, quiet and nicely decorated (Soho style), though the room was very small -- but this IS New York." source Venere

  • Service: Rating of 3.3 out of 5

"Good price for a hotel in NYC, standard room with standard services but incredibly noisy hotel, walls are like paper and if you are looking for a quiet stay, go somewhere else or buy ear plugs." source Venere

"Great bathroom :) Friendly staff." source Venere

"The management has no idea how to provide service as I had a flight canceled due to Laguardia being shut down and was stuck between flights." source Travelocity

    "all was ok \nthe location\nthe price \nclean \ngood service\nfree coffee/free storage\nnot ok\nno elevator\n." source Travelocity

"Helpful staff, speak spanish." source Venere

  • Location: Rating of 3.5 out of 5

"If your looking for a hotel in a good location really only to sleep and relax for a few hours a day - this place is great. It is in close walking distance to Soho, Nolita, Little Italy and the Lower East Side." source Venere

"We felt the name is a little misleading, as it felt a lot more like a Chinatown / Lower East Side location than So." source Venere

"Not the safest neighborhood." source Travelocity

"The hotel is truly within walking distance of plenty of shops, restaurants and the subway." source Travelocity

"easy walking distance to little Italy and Chinatown, and Canal street shopping, eating places all around, very charming." source Venere
