Greenwood Hostel is a countryside hostel, 10 km out of Kenmare town and the ideal place from where to explore the magnificent scenery of the Ring of Kerry and the MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland`s hghest mountains. The hostel combines the charme of an old-world-cottage with all the amenities that will make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We offer clean and comfortable double-rooms and small dormitories/family rooms (4-6 Persons) with beautiful views on Kenmare Bay. Enjoy the cosy common room with peat fire and our garden with mature trees, orchard and barbecue area.

Directions

From Airport: Kerry Airport at Farranfore. Take N22 and bypass Killarney. Leave N22 a few kilometers behind Glenflesk for R569 to Kenmare. In Kenmare take N70 in direction to Sneem. After 10 km take junction to the right which is signposted 'Coomnakilla'. The hostel lies after 30 m on the right side. From train station is in Killarney. Take bus to Kenmare. From Kenmare take N70 in direction to Sneem. After 10 km take junction to the right which is signposted 'Coomnakilla'. The hostel lies after 30 m on the right side.
