Directions

The airport is located on a separate island three kilometres east of Male Island. Boats run to all the major islands from a large ferry terminal near the arrivals area. A private boat to Male will cost around 10 15 USD and takes about 10 minutes. The public boat costs around 1 USD and takes 15 minutes. These boats operate 24 hours. Hotel staff can also arrange airport transfers (surcharge). The best way to get around the islands is by sea plane or speed boat.
