Completely renovated in October 2003 the Crowne Plaza Madrid is located at the Plaza de Espa®a, in the heart of Madrid and very near to the main cultural attractions like the Royal Palace or the Plaza Mayor. The hotel has 306 rooms, including 41 suites. The elegantly decorated rooms are distributed over 17 floors, 196 rooms for non-smokers. Also available are rooms with facilities for disabled people. All rooms are equipped with individual safes, interactive TV via satellite with high speed connection to Internet, wireless Internet connection in all the hotel (WI-FI) and Internet access via electric net of the hotel in sleeping rooms and meeting facilities (PLC), air conditioning, minibar, full bath with hairdryer, magnifying mirror and bath robe, piped music, direct automatic telephone, modem connection, trouser press and 24 hours room service. Many of the rooms are connecting and have a private terrace with views over the Plaza de Espa®a, Royal Palace and Casa de Campo Park. For relaxation clients can enjoy the gym with sauna, the "Plaza" cocktail bar, "Los Lagos" breakfast room and Mediterranean cuisine at the restaurant "El Mirador de la Plaza de Espana".
