Originally a 17th-century nobleman's mansion belonging to the family of Count Flamburiari, Cavalieri Hotel is approximately one mile from Corfu Airport and the port. Corfu, or Kerkyra, lies in the northern Ionian Sea at the entrance to the Adriatic, off the west coast of Albania and the Greek mainland. It is the northern-most of the seven Ionian Islands. The capital of the island is also named Corfu. Hotel amenities include the roof garden (where drinks and snacks are served), TV room, drawing room (with a bar under the Venetian mirror), and English-style breakfast. The public areas are tastefully decorated with paintings, antique wallpaper, and authentic furniture in the bar and drawing room.
