Gecko Lodge

Under new management, Gecko Lodge is a small, family run backpackers hostel located on Darwin's main street. Gecko is quiet and secluded and just a short walk (or shuttle bus trip) from town, Mindil Beach and the night markets. We offer a free tea and coffee. All rooms in Gecko Lodge have a fan, fridge and air conditioning, private rooms also have a TV. We have a tour desk to help you with all your travelling adventures. Come and relax in our tropical garden and pool - its a great place to meet fellow travellers.

24 Hr Check in by appointment onlyRefund on airport shuttle bus to Gecko Lodge if you are staying for 4 consecutive nights. Arrivals AFTER Midnight need to book the previous night - so if you arrive 1AM MONDAY you need to put your arrival date as SUNDAY See you soon...
