When reviewed, the long-time Holiday Inn just south of downtown Calgary, in what boosters are now labeling the Arts District, is undergoing transformation into a Euro-chic, one-of-a-kind boutique hotel focusing on the arts scene in Calgary. The entire hotel will be filled with contemporary visual art; guest rooms feature briskly modern decor and upscale amenities. The poolside bar and cafe is destined to set the scene for the hotel. Hotel Arts is scheduled for completion in 2006. Call or check the website for current information.
