The combination of elegant furnishings and diffused natural lighting through shoji (rice paper) screens contributes to a serene ambience. Guests may choose from Western or traditional Japanese accommodations. Sumptuous bathrooms feature deluxe bath amenities and offer a choice between a Western-style tub/shower combination and a furo (deep-tub Japanese bath for soaking and relaxing).. In 2001, renovation of the bathrooms commenced. This three-year, five million-dollar projects include new tubs, granite counter tops, and marble floors. Convenient and affordable indoor parking, with direct access to the hotel, is available in the Japan Center Garage beneath the hotel.
