Directions

From Cape Town International Airport (CPT): Distance to the Townhouse Hotel is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. Airport transfers can be organised for a surcharge. Taxis are available from the airport's authorised taxi company, Touch Down. Travellers are advised not to use unauthorised taxis. The fare to the city centre is approximately 200 ZAR. Door to door shuttle buses are available, and can be pre booked at Arrivals. Price is subject to change. Getting around. Trains and buses run throughout the city, but driving is the best way to get around. Many attractions are clearly signposted, but parking can be difficult. Taxis are available but can be expensive. Driving directions. From Cape Town International Airport. Take the N2 to Cape Town. Keep left on the N2 following signs for De Waal Drive/City via M3. After 3.5 kilometres, take the city via Roeland Street turn off. At the fourth set of traffic lights (T junction), turn right into Plein Street. Turn right at the second street into Barrack Street. Take the first left onto Corporation Street. The Townhouse Hotel will be on the left at the end of the block.
