More information on Holiday Chalet A Victorian B and B
A popular poet once said that it takes a heap of living to make a house a home. And that is true about the Holiday Chalet, which has been the family home for three generations. If ever there were a mansion destined to become a welcome home to travelers over many generations, it is the grand and gracious Holiday Chalet. This elegant three-story brownstone was built in 1896 for Henry Bohm, a prominent Denver jeweler. An added bonus is beautiful hand painted china and oil paintings in the light and airy Victorian breakfast room. The breakfast menu includes Starbucks coffee, assorted teas, juice, homemade bread and muffins, and hot and cold cereals. Other amenities include kids activities, a business center, meeting rooms, and laundry facilities. Pets are also allowed. The inn now offers 12 efficient apartments complete with private bathrooms and full kitchens.

You can easily reach the Holiday Chalet from the Denver International Airport (DIA) via rental car, the Airport Super Shuttle or Taxi. Pena Blvd. to I-70, I-70 west to Colorado Blvd., south on Colorado Blvd. to Colfax Avenue, west on Colfax Avenue 24 blocks to the corner of High Street.Directions via Super Shuttle: The Shuttle runs every half hour to the Holiday Chalet at a cost of $18 each way ($32 round) per person. The trip is between 30 minutes to one hour depending on traffic. Shuttle service pickup is on Level 5. Call for more info, 1-800-258-3826.Taxi Services: Taxi services are generally available without prior reservations at DIA.
