The First Resort Billingehus is one of the Sweden's largest conference facilities, accommodating up to 1300 delegates. It also has some of the finest dining in western Sweden. Outside the hotel is the lovely high plains of Vastergotland, with a wealth of stimulating outdoor activities. (06/05 LC) The hotel consists of a number of adjoining large brick-built buildings, painted in white and of different shapes, making the complex possess a unique architectural harmony. Designed by Professor Hans-Erland Heineman, the complex is one of his most respected pieces of work from the '70's. The hotel is set in lush green grounds, and is styled as a resort hotel with conference facilities, excellent leisure opportunities and wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. The town is 3km away as is the nearest railway station.
