N.B.: YOU CAN ASK FOR SINGLE, DOUBLE AND FAMILY ROOMS AT YOUR ARRIVAL (IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE).The Youth Hostel San Sisto-Due Torri in Bologna is part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Italy. The hostel offers guests an enviable and strategic base for getting to know the beautiful Bologna and see its many attractions. Bologna is also an excellent base for visiting Ferrara (45 km), Modena (40 km), Parma (95 km), Ravenna (75 km), Reggio Emilia (65 km), Rimini (112 km). Our rooms have 2 to 6 single beds, no bunks. We have one room ensuite which is for disabled access, that we suggest you book in advance.There are lockers in every room but you have to bring your own padlock. Sheets and blankets are provided. You can rent towels at the cost of �1 each.Toilets and showers are in the corridor and hot water is always available.Check-out: 10:00 (rooms are closed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for cleaning) - Check-in: after 14:00Common areas include: a TV room which also has tables, a reading room with couches, a breakfast room open from 7:30 to 9:30 and a big garden with basketball playground and many benches.We offer our guests: internet point, WiFi, pizza delivery service, movie tapes you can watch for free, various games such as Jenga, Chess, cards, book-swapping, machines with hot and cold drinks, rental bikes. Directions
We are located in the outskirt of Bologna, in Via Viadagola 5, 6 km from the city centre, the bus station and the train station. Buses linking the hostel to the centre are number 93 you take in Via Irnerio (bus stop 'Sferisterio' close to Piazza VIII Agosto) direction Granarolo or Baricella (monday to saturday until 20:00. From the station take Via Indipendenza and after 200 m turn left and you are in Via Irnerio), n�301(sunday and public holidays from the bus station), n�21B (from 20:44 to 00:44 in front of the railway station under the portico). You can catch all the buses in the area around the train and coach stations and you get off at the stop called San Sisto, which is a few metres away, right in front of the hostel. It takes about 20 minutes to reach us. From the airport take the shuttle BLQ and get off in Via Indipendenza (bus stop 'Arena del Sole' and go to Via Irnerio to take the bus n�93) before 8 p.m. or at the train station (after 8 p.m. to take the bus n�21/B).By car, take exit number 9 of the tangenziale and follow the signs for Ostello San Sisto.
