More information on The Lord Nelson Hotel

This is a good, two-star standard hotel with dining facilities. All rooms are in excellent condition. Iron and hair dryer are available from the reception free of charge. With the location and price of this hotel, a lot of young guests stay here and the residents? bars may stay open until early hours of morning. This hotel is not recommended if guests are looking for an early nights sleep - in particular over weekends or football dates. The hotel gained great publicity a month ago when Paris Hilton stayed here when attending the Carling Academy next door. (GW 06/2008) The hotel is a large white Victorian building which has retained many of the original features including the bay windows at the front. The entrance is covered by a large canopy. The hotel can be found on Lord Nelson Street, situated in the heart of Liverpool city centre, just 2 minutes walk from Lime Street train station, bus stops, and a taxi rank. Due to the hotel's excellent location, all of the sites and attractions Liverpool has to offer are within easy reach.
