El Rey Inn

A classic Route 66 Inn, built in 1935 and maintained beautifully. Under the same local ownership for the past 31 years, with a loyal and dedicated staff with an average tenure greater than ten years. This tranquil, roadside inn features lush gardens that are designated a NWF backyard habitat and white-washed buildings spread over five acres. A landmark inn, El Rey has offered affordable lodging just minutes from the Plaza for more than 65 years. Friendly staff, sunny garden nooks and continental breakfast served in a cheery dining room add to the pleasant experience. Eighty-six rooms, ranging from inexpensive standards to a deluxe lodge suite, are surrounded by lovely outdoor amenities: sitting areas, fountains, and picnic areas.
