Boqueron, a quiant fishing village on the west coast of Puerto Rico, is home to Aquarius Vacation Club at Boqueron Beach Resort and Marina. Both a marina and the Balneario de Boqueron - two miles of undeveloped beachfront protected as a nature reserve - border the resort.Hotel Amenities includes: Two pools, restaurant, children's activities, concierge, dry cleaning service, game room, elevator, 24-hour security, beach (within walking distance), night life (within walking distance). The town of Boqueron, in the municipality of Cabo Rojo in southwestern Puerto Rico has historically been a center of convergence of local tourism attracted by the 4000 metres of beach lined with palm trees and the taste of seafood and fish themselves in the region. The mangrove forests and lagoon of Boqueron, is a haven for wild birds and habitat conducive to the reproduction of the scallop. Generations of sacadores of oysters have kept their families marketed molluscum. The bureaus of oysters lined along the main street that runs parallel to the sea are an integral part of the local landscape. In addition, there were tables of crafts and decks with musical groups that encouraged the party that lasted until late at night. These festivals have been replaced by festivals organized by the liquor distribution companies, where tables of oysters and fries from kiosks are totally peripheral as an economic activity. Still tourism weekend remains vital to the economy of the town.
