  • Overall: Rating of 3.8 out of 5

"I was there while they were completely reconstructing the bar, so that\'s probably why the rooms were a bit unclean -but just the floor- I had a great stay here and would come back again, especially for the excellent location." source Hostelworld

"Pretty run down, wouldn't stay there again, disapointing too because heard good things about st christopher hostels but if this was a representation of all the hostels I doubt if I'll stay at the others." source Hostelworld

"Regent's Park and London zoo only a short walk, the underground just around the corner and the bar and rooms in excellent condition, I would certainly recommend this place to everyone." source Hostelworld

"Overall, this was the perfect place to lay my head down in between action packed days in London." source Hostelworld

"the room door did not lock and the janitor kicked us out of the room for "depp cleaning"on a monday, but besides that the rooms were decent and we loved the neighborhood." source Hostelworld

"i've stayed at this hostel before; it's perfect for theatre visits, which are expensive, so a cheap, clean, cheerful environment is perfect." source Hostelworld

More information on St Christopher's Camden

Camden has long been a haven for London's artistic souls, a mass congregation of writers, musicians and visual artists; this is where you will find some of the most colourful people the city has to offer with their pink dreads and day-glow t-shirts. There are more tattoo and piercing studios than anywhere else in the city, a live venue to satisfy every musical palate, a multi-cultural smorgasbord of cuisine and more than enough pubs, clubs, and bars to keep you perpetually entertained. In the centre of all this action you'll find St. Christopher's Camden hostel. During the daylight hours Camden Market is the place to get lost while finding just about anything from anywhere. Comprised of six sprawling markets dotting the high street, Camden Markets will reveal a plethora of fashion, arts, crafts, furniture, international food and drink, antiques, jewellery, music and souvenirs. So many treasures, you'll definitely want to take a full day to explore it all. Any musical connoisseur will appreciate Camden's roots in rock history with from the infamous Roundhouse where Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and Cream all wow-ed crowds; to the modern day Camden Palace (it is called KOKO's now) and the birth of Britpop. Blur and Oasis were both living and playing around Camden when they raced each other to the top of the charts in the early 90's. But the musical appeal extends beyond rock to classical, folk, jazz, trance, house, punk or goth. Situated conveniently between Camden Town and Mornington Crescent tube stations, city central St. Christopher's is within minutes of all the must see tourist attractions. Not sure where to start, our fun-loving staff will be brimming with ideas on how to make the most of your London adventure. And when you've had enough of the big city rush make yourself at home in our relaxed chill out room, fully equipped with TV, internet couches and cushions. The 'Guide De Routarde' voted us as ' first choice for London.'
